Hi @Blessed19,

Welcome to the HP Support Community

I understand you are facing an issue with your the scanner in Paint app won't show up HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 3635 All-In-One Printer. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

Usually this occurs if the drivers for the software are either corrupt or not functioning properly.

For better understanding of the issue, I would need more information from your end.

  1. Is the “From scanner or camera” option disabled in Paint program?
  2. Do you have similar issues with any other computer?
  3. How did you uninstall the driver?
  4. Are you able to print through Paint and other application?

Please try the steps below and let us know if it fixes the issue:

Uninstall Printer/scanner:

  1. Press the Windows and X key on the keyboard at the same time.
  2. Click Control Panel.
  3. Click View Devices and Printers.
  4. Select the printer/scanner to be uninstalled, and click Remove Device at the top of the window.
  5. A message shows to confirm the removal of the printer/scanner. Click yes to remove from Devices and Printers.
  6. After removing the printer, the printer driver needs to be removed as well. Click the windows and X key on the keyboard.
  7. Select Programs and Features.
  8. In programs, Select the model printer driver and click Uninstall.
  9. A message will display to confirm uninstalling the driver. Click yes and the installation wizard will open.

10)  In the installation wizard, select all the components in the list and click Next.

I hope this helps! Keep me posted.
