We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

Hi

Never tried using the wireless scanner before but the wireless printing is working fine.

Problem - When I open the HP app it shows the printer as off line and will print a document ok.

However, when I click on scan it responds -

Scanning is currently unavailable

Please check your printer is connected and active??? 

Well it is - its printing ok 

Any suggestions?

To provide you with an accurate solution, I'd like to know the following-

  • What is the Operating System installed on your computer?
  • Are you scanning using the HP Smart App?
  • is there any antivirus/security software installed on your computer?
