Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am a realtor scanning contract every day. in the last few days, I noticed my scans were screwed up flipping pages upside down every 6 pages or so of an 18-page scan. I thought it was just me but I had to go to another location to another HP printer a 9024 I think using my travel laptop (so a different Laptop and different scanner) and it did the same thing. I think we have a big software problem. Anyone else

Welcome to the HP support community.

Which application are you using to scan?

Meanwhile:-

Perform a power reset

  1. Turn on the printer, if it is not already on.
  2. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
  3. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  4. Wait at least 30 seconds.
  5. Plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet and printer without any surge protector.
  6. Turn on the printer.

Update the printer firmware

Here are the steps:- click here

I hope that helps.

Please look at Greenturle's solution. Easy fix. I missed the Auto-Enhancements icon top right on the first scan page.

1. Scan

2. Auto-Enhancements icon top right

3. Turn orientation "off"

4. Continue scanning

HP needs to fix this so you can have it off and stay off as a preference. You have to turn it off every time you use scan. Annoying.
