Hello Community,     I have an HP Officejet 6600 all in one printer, prior to today I could open the printer software on my desktop and i could click on the " scan a document or photo "  and the scanning function would start right up and i could save the doc. as a PDF file to my desktop.      Now I can not activate the scanner from my computer, as before, it seems like the printer does not recognize my computer, for I have to go to the printer touch screen and select my printer before the machine will start to scan, it seems like the printer does not remember my computer LIKE BEFORE.  " IS THIS FUNCTION CORRECTABLE ??.

Please Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor (PSDR) tool to diagnose and fix your problem

Hello greenturtle;      I downloaded the link that you sent, I ran the program, it seems to have fixed the problem for at least my printer recognizez my computer now and it scans the way it should.
