my HP Smart app keeps saying Scanning is Currently Unavailable. I've done diagnostics, they say nothing is wrong but I can't scan. The printer works fine but scanning is not working.

Meanwhile, you can try these steps:
Restart Devices:
- Restart your computer, mobile device, and printer. Sometimes a simple restart can solve connectivity issues.
- If using a network printer, restart the router as well.
Check Network Connection:
- Ensure your computer or mobile device is connected to the same network as your printer.
- Check the wireless indicator on your printer to confirm it's connected to the network. It should show a solid blue light.
Reset the Printer:
- Turn off the printer. If it doesn’t respond, unplug the power cord.
- Unplug the power source and wait for 60 seconds before reconnecting and turning on the printer directly from a wall outlet.
Check Printer Status in HP Smart App:
- Open the HP Smart app and verify that you are signed in to your account.
- Review the printer status icon next to the printer image for connectivity status. A green circle or cloud indicates proper connection.
Run HP Smart Diagnose & Fix Tool:
- Open the Diagnose & Fix tool in the HP Smart app. Follow the instructions to identify and resolve any detected issues.
Re-add the Printer in HP Smart App:
- Remove the printer from the app and then add it again. This can resolve unexpected connectivity issues.
