I have been trying to scan three pages into one document. I have read the suggestions, however, I don't have anything that says PDF and after I scan the first one there is no place to say there is a page 2. The box for Preview images or scan files as separate documents is unchecked, I tried to click on it just in case, and I couldn't do that either. Please help, this is very frustrating.

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP forum.  We'd like to suggest that you install the FULL feature software if you have not done so to get the best functions on your software.

Can you download and install the FULL feature printer software from HP for your operating system:

 

http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-deskjet-2540-all-in-one-printer-series/5295960/mo...

Once you have downloaded and installed the FULL feature software, you will be able to print and scan.
