Hi @STS2024,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP printer was scanning properly earlier but is now producing blank pages, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can try.
- Check Ink Levels: Ensure that your printer has enough ink or toner to produce the scanned images. Low ink levels can sometimes result in blank pages.
- Clean Scanner Glass: Sometimes, dirt or smudges on the scanner glass can interfere with the scanning process. Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean the scanner glass thoroughly.
- Restart Printer: Turn off your printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for a couple of minutes, and then plug it back in and turn it on. This can sometimes resolve temporary glitches.
- Update Drivers: Make sure your printer drivers are up to date. You can usually download the latest drivers from the HP website.
- Check Scanner Settings: Review the scanning settings on your printer's control panel or the scanning software on your computer. Ensure that the correct settings are selected for the type of document you are scanning.
- Reset Printer Settings: Sometimes resetting the printer to its default settings can resolve scanning issues. Refer to your printer's user manual for instructions on how to reset it.
- Test with Different Documents: Try scanning different types of documents to see if the issue persists. If the problem only occurs with specific documents, there may be an issue with those documents themselves.
By following these steps, you should be able to identify and resolve the issue with your HP printer scanning blank pages.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
