I want to scan a document from a printer HP ENVY 6000 to a computer with Windows 7. I get an error message: "HP ENVY 6000 not found". Is it possible to scan if my system is Windows 7? Thanks.

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.

Can you download and install the FULL featured printer software from HP for your operating system:
HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads

 

Once you have downloaded and installed the FULL feature software, you will be able to print and scan.

Thanks for your reply. I have downloaded and installed the full feature software, but I still have the same error message when I try to scan a document. But, as I had an error message during the installation, I'm not sure that the installation was complete.

If an error occurs during installation, then likely the install was not complete.

 

Can try to install again?

I submitted my problem to HP/France. After many tests, HP/France thinks that my problem is not an HP problem, but a Windows problem. Thanks for your help.
