sending a scan-pdf I type my email in outlook and send but when I check the SEND box it is blank

I have just purchased a HP M479 FDW printer scanner. Connected to my network ( 3 work stations ) by WIFI.

I have 2 separate email addresses set up in my Microsoft Outlook email program.

I am finding that when I scan to email, the email opens up with the pdf attached, I type the email and when I send and look in the   SENT box to print the email the email has gone out with the attachment but the email itself is blank with no text whatsoever.

You can scan to email directly from the machine, perhaps that would work better. With this level of machine most of my users go direct email or create a scan to folder and then send email from outlook and attach the file.

The strange thing is that when I scan to email one email address is fine but the other email address sends blank. ?
