We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

Trying to set up email to send, from HP Smart app.  I go to Advanced Settings I enter server/port smtp.mail.**bleep**/465 or 587 and still nothing works.  Any help please.

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

 

Check SMTP Settings:

SMTP Server: Use the correct one for your email provider.

Gmail: smtp.gmail.com

Outlook: smtp-mail.outlook.com

Yahoo: smtp.mail.yahoo.com

Port:

465 (SSL) or 587 (TLS)

Encryption: Choose SSL or TLS.

 

2FA Issues:

If 2FA is enabled, create an app-specific password (for Gmail, Outlook, etc.).

 

Firewall/Security Software:

Check if any firewalls or antivirus programs are blocking the connection.

 

Test with Another App:

Try the same SMTP settings in another email client (like Outlook) to rule out issues with your email provider.
