Hello,
I've got a HP LaserJet 500 MFP M525 and i have a problem setting up a two-sided -> two-sided copying through Quick Sets. When selecting 2-sided as Original Sides and 2-sided as Output Sides, i'm getting an error: "279.4 is out of range for Y Dimension. (280 to 355.6).
I would appreciate any help.

Hi,
I have the same issue, but found out that you have to set the quick set on the Printer Side first 2-sided Output, save it and then make the necessary config on the web interface after (move to homepage, change name, etc.). That worked for me to bypass that error message. Hope this helps

Hi,
What paper size is used?
Automatic duplex printing support select paper sizes only and not any other sizes, as listed on Page 20 of its user guide:
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c02995041.pdf
Also, from reviewing the error that the Y dimension is 279.4, I would assume the paper size is US Letter ? (215.9 mm x 279.4 mm), if so load the paper in a portrait orientation rather than Landscape and then it should allow automatic duplex printing

Hi,
Thanks for reaching out. The problem is not with copying itself but rather with setting it up with Quick Sets. I'm trying to set it up through web app (General -> Quick Sets). I'm selecting Copy as Quick Set Type, then I give it a name and tick "Start instantly when selected from Home Screen". Next, it tells me to configure a bunch of options like Copies, Sides, Watermark, Stamps, Scan Mode, Reduce/Enlarge, Image Shift, Original Size, Paper Selection, Booklet, Content Orientation, Pages per Sheet, Image Adjustment, Optimize Text/Picture, Edge-to-Edge, Collate and Output Bin. I'm leaving these on default values except for Sides, where I'm setting Original Sides to 2-sided and Output Sides to 2-sided. Then I click next and get the error I mentioned earlier - so it doesn't let me finish creating it. What is more, when I change Output Sides to 1-sided it lets me finish it, so the problem appears to be with setting Output Sides to 2-sided but I have no clue how to solve it.
I have my Trays set up in this way: Tray 1: Any Size/Any Type, Tray 2: B5/Any Type, Tray 3: A4/Any Type.
Of course I want it to copy A4 pages and print it on A4 pages as well.
If you need any more of my configuration just let me know.
