Well, you can scan more than one page for the scan job --

That said, doing so is certainly more difficult having only the Flatbed to use.

Scan Type

Flatbed only

Pages for the current scan job must be "Added" using " + Add " or similar.

The exact wording depends on which Application or scan software you are using.

Find the "+ Add" scan page option in step 3 of the illustration

Click " + Add " to scan additional pages for the current scan job.

Be aware -- very large jobs (lots of pages) might fail due to loss of connection or lack or resources on the printer or on the computer.

HP Smart cannot automatically reorder the pages -- you must do that manually after the pages are scanned.

What else?

HP Scan -- part of the Full Feature Software / full driver printer software -- can be used to Scan in PDF format.

After each page is scanned, a new scan can be made with "Add Page" or similar.

Once the pages are scanned, the software can reorder the pages for you.

One file or separate files can be made of of the scanned pages.
