I understand how frustrating it can be when your scanner isn’t working, especially when you've tried everything. Let’s go through a few steps to get it working again.
Check the Basics
Make sure the printer is powered on and connected properly (via USB or Wi-Fi).
If using Wi-Fi, ensure your printer and computer are on the same network.
Restart Everything
Turn off the printer, unplug it for about a minute, then plug it back in and turn it on.
Restart your computer as well.
Update or Reinstall the Drivers
Go to the HP Support website and download the latest drivers for your model.
If the drivers are already installed, try uninstalling and reinstalling them.
Run the HP Print and Scan Doctor
Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor. This tool can detect and fix scanning issues automatically.
