New HP 8610 being set up. I have got adf to scan to e mail --------How do I get it to Scan to pdf on the computer. This does not come up. Is there a desktop screen for scanning

Thanks for your continued participation in the HP Forums! I’d be glad to help with the scanning issue with the Envy printer 🙂
I see that you are trying to scan to PC in PDF format while using the Officejet printer.
Once you click on scan, by default the file type is selected as JPEG. Touch on the file type and then change it to PDF.
Now, try to scan. Once the first page is scanned, it will ask you to add more pages if needed. Select "Add pages" to add the second page to your scan.
