I am not sure what category to place this.  We are looking at an LaserJet Pro MFP M29w and OfficeJet 5255 and we have to use Chromebook.  The information I have found it appears there will be no issue with printing, but we need to use the scanner.  Is it possible to use the scanner of either with a chromebook and if so, where would I find information.  Thank you.

Hi,

Inkjet printers such as the Officejet 5255 model supports scanning to a Chromebook using Webscan:

https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05881028

Laserjet printers such as the M29w does not support a such and therefore does not support scanning to a Chromebook.

For a Chromebook, only Laser printers with a touch screen support scanning using digital solutions such as Scan to Email, the M227fdw support a such as an example.
