want to scan and send to my computer

i have a hp office jet 8710 and I am trying to scan to my computer

If your computer is running a supported version of Windows and the printer software, Scan to Computer feature should be available.

1. If not done, Install full driver printer software
2. Enable Scan to Computer feature in Printer Assistant

1)  If not done, install the Full Feature Software / full driver printer software.

If asked, opt for the Full Driver to be installed.

After the software is installed, Restart the computer and sign in.

2) The installation of the full driver generally adds at least one, possibly two shortcuts to the Desktop.

 Note:  Printer Assistant, HP Scan Assistant, and HP Scan are dependent on printer model and supported software options.
