Jerk company.

Make you create an account.

Software is rubbish and doesn't do what it's meant to anyway.

Pus trying to steer users to use their cloud, by having shortcut options only saving t cloud. What if I want to save to pc? I aren't worth making a shortcut option.

When the marketers and data harvesters get more say in a company than product development...

You don't need to create an account if you want to use your HP printer. You can install the full driver software and use the printer normally like in the old days.

Scanner too? I used the software and came to dead end unless I created an account.
