HP LaserJet 3390 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a new computer. The HP 3390 is attached using a USB port (DOT4_001) and the HP LaserJet 3390/3392 PCL6 Class Driver.

In the past the printer was connected to a different system aslo withthe USB Port and the  HP Universal Printing PCL 6. On the previous system I had a Scanner driver as part of the printing functions. I could open up PDF24 an import from the Printer.
I do not seem to have the Scanner functtionality any longer on the new system. I tried to open the printer properties> Advanced tab and change the drinver from the HP LaserJet 3390/3392 PCL6 Class Driver to the HP Universal Printing PCL 6, but it does not allow this.

How can I get the Scanner to be seen in software like PDF24 or Windows Fax & Scan?

On previous system in the "Manage your device" dialog box of the HP Universal Printing PCL 6, it stated that
"This device has a few diferrent functions. Pick one to manage settings for that function."

In the drop down was a selectino for "Scanner: HP LaserJet 3390 Scanner"
