Hello.

I downloaded from the manufacturer's website - https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-scanjet-2400-digital-flatbed-scanner/297429 - software for my scanner - "HP Scanjet Full Feature Software and Driver ”- launched the installation file, did everything as expected, have been congratulated on a successful installation. However, there is no any shortcut either on the desktop or in the start menu. Moreover, the folder C: \ Program Files (x86) \ HP is only 24.5 megabytes in size. There are only 2 folders "Digital Imaging \ {7B604AC7-B496-473F-A17C-489398E38BEA}" and "Temp \ {7B604AC7-B496-473F-A17C-489398E38BEA}"

Content of "Digital Imaging \ {7B604AC7-B496-473F-A17C-489398E38BEA}:

Folders: “help”, “images”, “setup” 9.54 MB

Files: “autorun.inf”, “hpzcdl01.exe”, “hpzsetup.exe”, “hpzstub.exe”, “setup.exe”

The content of "Temp \ {7B604AC7-B496-473F-A17C-489398E38BEA}":

Folder “setup” 10 MB

File "autorun.inf"

There is nothing else. It seems it need some kind of correction, but apparently this is the most recent of what is available on the site. Please tell me the solution.

Hi,

Have you installed the HP Scanjet Full Feature Software and Driver?

 
Installing the

 HP Scanjet Basic Feature Driver only provide a WIA scan interface to scan with Windows Fax and Scan, not any other scanning program.
