Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I have an HP OfficeJet Pro 8720. the multipaper feed only works when I am making copies, not when I am scanning multicopies. Any ideas?

I don't know why you need that. You get ONE PDF file and you can copy using normal copy function from the Operating System.
