I have followed all instructions for set up of my HP Sprocket and my mobile phone (iphone 8 plus) is connected via bluetooth and the app says it is connected. When I try to print something the print job goes into the print queue and the Sprocket blinks, but nothing happens. There is also a Firmware upgrade issue. When I attempt to do the upgrade, it says it is sending the firmware upgrade to the Sprocket and the Sprocket blinks, but it doesnt work no matter how long I wait.
I tried resseting the sprocket, uninstalling and reinstalling the app from my phone, forgetting the device on bluetooth and reconnecting them. Nothing seems to work. The phone and sprocket say they are connected to each other, but it seems that the phone cannot transmit information to the Sprocket, even though the light blinks on the Sprocket that should indicate it is receiving information from the phone. Also, the Sprocket is fully charged.
Also, it works from my other, older iphone. Is it not compatible with the new iphone or ios?
Please help!

It is know for iOS 11.x version to have issues. iOS 11.2 is not compatible at all (stucks upon sending).
Unfortunately, it is December, almost Christmas. Probably most developers are already on vacation.
So far no response from HP, forum is full of issues reported by people with iOS 11.x. They definetely know about this, but stay silent. Congrats with new decoration, hopefully just for December. 🙂

The fix for iOS 11.2 is now available, see the post here.
I am not an employee of HP, I am a volunteer posting here on my own time.
