Your message seems to contradict itself. SDHC won't work without proprietary software ... but a 4GB (therefore SDHC) from Transcend works right out of the box?
I couldn't find the CABS you mentioned on TreoCentral. Can anyone provide a link? Thanks!
I sure would like to find a 4GB card that works with my 700wx, and this thread doesn't leave me too hopeful. Any idea if Palm will ever address this? I find it baffling that they would offer an Audible-compatible device that has a 2GB storage max -- I have audio books 4 times that size.

I've had said Treo for little under a year now, I had a card for it but I didn't realize the 700 series had switched to the miniSD's. I recently purchased a Kingstom Flash Membory Mobility 4GB Micro kit, came with the 4GB MicroSD, an Adapater to MiniSD or StandardSD and a MicroUSB reader. I first inserted the Micro card into the MiniSD adapter, popped it in the Treo, it gave the standard tone seeing it was there. All's good. But after just browsing my apps or hotsyncing the phone loses connection with the card. I've looked on here, saw some people had great results with micro to mini situations, others have had horrible. Is it the Treo's fault or the Card's?

The Treo will see the SanDisk Ultra II 8.0 Gb SDHC card but on looking at the card info screen but only displays a maximum size of 3686.5 Mb. Any suggestions
on if or how to get it to see the rest?

Tchitry,
I am was having the same problem with the exact same card. I called Palm and the lady there told me that the Centro's do not support SDHC cards, SD only (even though the website clearly states that they have tested 4GB SD and SDHC cards and they all work). However, after I purchased a SDHC card reader and loaded my music files on there, I was able to listen to them. The first time I put it in, I was only able to get about 30 seconds of play time and then I got an error message that said I removed the card (which I had not becuase I was listening to music).
Since the first time entering the card I have has a few problems with it. I can listen to music now for as long as I want, however, if I do not access the card for a few hours I have to take it out and re-instert it a few times to get the phone to read it again. I can access the card until it goes "idle" again.
I am not sure of any other way to fix the problem than this. I have only had my phone for a little over a week, so if I find anything other fixes I will let you know.
Let me know if you found a solution.

I recently bought a Kingston 4Gb micro SDHC with mini adapter. It work with my treo 750 (updated to winmobile 6.0). The card currently loaded at 2918Mb out of 3855Mb. I have no problem listening to my music on it.
I guess my treo won't get pass 4G barrier until windows move to 64bit.

I have a Treo 755p and use a Kingston 4 GB miniSDHC card, nearly without problems. In the last eight months, the card maybe wasn't recognized three or four times, but ejecting and re-inserting the card took care of the problem.
As far as I know, Palm says cards larger than 4 GB are not supported by the Treo 755p, but I've heard reports that indicate otherwise. Does anyone have experience with a Treo 755p and 6 GB or even 8 GB cards?
