I have a Palm m515 1GB Polaroid SD Card with no Problems.

Nice. You've got a M515 :smileyvery-happy: Well, to add to that, here are a couple more cards for the Palm M505:

64MB Sandisk micro SD card (with SD Adapter: my mum has a phone): Works fine so far. Haven't had it that long.

256MB Kingston full-size SD card: Works fine. Have had this for ages. With PhotoSuite, it takes around 15-20 seconds for loading 24 pics. Surprisingly fast, considering 32MB was gigantic back then.

512MB Tesco full-size SD card: Again, fine. I couldn't vigorously test it, as I gave it to a friend.

And now, the biggie...

2GB Kingston micro SD card (with adapter): Seems to work OK, but I can't say for sure. (my dad won't let me HotSync :smileymad:)

On a side note: I would recommend using the lowest size card you need, as I have found it slows down a bit using larger cards. ***not confirmed yet; not even sure :smileywink:***

I have an E2. When I read the link it stated that I could use up to 1GB. Well, I have an SD card of 1GB and it will not work.

I find it extremely frustrating when I am told that something works to a spec and then it doesn't.

Are there are patches, updates or hints on how I can get this to work?

I am new to this and simply frustrated.....

Sorry you are having difficulties. Have you tried formatting the card in the E2, using the Card Info application? Also, it is possible that some SD cards are not fully compliant with the SD standard. It could just be that the card is faulty. Try another one if possible, before determining that it is a faulty E2.

Treo 700p with Sprint 1.10 update:

Transcend 4GB SD cards (150x b.s.!) will NOT work! You can copy info to them on your PC & the 700p can _read_ them, but if you attempt to do anything else -- e.g., delete a file -- you will hang the 700p, and then corrupt the file system on the SD card.

You can fix the file system if you put the card back into your PC, and then run the file system tools on it. Note that "Check Now" won't detect or fix the file system !?! You have to do "Check Now" _and_ "Automatically Fix File System Errors". The deleted files will then show up again (but with made up names), and you can now delete them properly using your PC.

I too upgraded to firmware 1.10 and was able to then read a PQI 4gig card and also a A-Data 4gig card that 1.08 would not.

I have an Tungsten E2 which seems to accept any 1G card, including Sandisk.  I can't find ANY brand - neither Sandisk nor Aptiva (home depot brand) in 2G that works.  The PDA just does not recognize the 2G card!!  Anyone have any luck with bigger than 1G with the E2?

Anybody tested 4gb on a Palm Treo 750?

Well, I haven't tested it, but if it's a 4GB SDHC card, it definitely won't work. It's quite rare when a piece of equipment works with SDHC cards. If it's a 4GB SD card, yet again, it's unlikely that it'll work. But enough gloom, I reckon 2GB is way more than most people need on their Palm, even for stuff like movies and photos. And if for some reason that isn't enough, just get another 2GB card! It'll be way cheaper than buying 1 4GB card (weird, I know, but true)
