Is there a way to have the VVX model phone to forward all calls placed to it as a page? What I am trying to accomplish is someone using the SfB client or VVX phone would call an extension residing on a VVX phone (paging phone). When a call is placed to the paging phone that phone will forward that call to a paging group. Algo 8180's will be part of that group and will relay that page to other 8180s.
I'm doing a POC for SfB online with Cloud PBX and PSTN calling exclusively without a hybrid deployment. Paging is a requirement and not all uses will be given a phyical phone.
Thanks for any help provide.
Mike

Hello Mike,
welcome to the Polycom Community.
No, a Polycom Page is a completely different technologie as a Skype call and you cannot answer a call as a page.

Hello Mike,
As already explained a Skype for Business call is something completely different to a Page.
You can use a VVX to page multiple other phones but you cannot "forward" and incoming call as a Paged call.

To continue this conversation, if a customer has Skype for Business Online, with Cloud PBX, and Polycom VVX phones deployed, can the phones page to one another and broadcast page to all phones within a location? If so, where is the paging software deployed?

Hello BenC_MSSkype,
welcome to the Polycom Community.
The community's VoIP FAQ contains this post here:
Jan 21, 2014 Question: How can I use PTT / Push To Talk / Paging / Page ?
Resolution: Please check => here <=
PTT / Page does not need a separate server and the phones simply support this. There are limitations on a RealPresence Trio.
Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
