we have polycom trio 8800 with visual+, that when using the skype profile setup, cannot login to his team profile.

When using the team profile, the device can login to his team profile, but then I cannot link the visual+.

I heared we need to buy the Real connect license to enable the skype profile with visual+ ?

 

Any recomendations ?

Nov 04, 2021 Question: Are Poly Trio 8800 and 8500 supported to be used with Microsoft Teams?

Resolution: As explained >here< the Trio 8800 and 8500 are no longer supported as a Microsoft Teams device since 31/10/2021.
The Microsoft Teams App included in any current Poly UC Software build for Trio 8800 and 8500 is 1449/1.0.94.2020051601

July 19. 2019 Question: Can a Poly Trio 8800 or 8500 support Microsoft Teams or Zoom at the same time as Skype for Business or openSIP?

Resolution: If the Poly Trio is running the native Teams app you cannot use any other Line.
Teams on the Trio 8500/8800 are mutually exclusive and do not allow pairing with a Visual+/VisualPro for Video. The device will be Audio only.

Hi @WalterD

 

What do you want do archive? Video or Voice Only calls?

 

The Trio 8800 is not certified to run the MS Teams Room app with video/content, It is only for Voice.

 

If you want to use the endpoint for video calls, you have to use a Cloud Video Interop for Microsoft Teams.

Then the Trio 8800 is configured as SIP device and the CVI will connect your endpoint to the Teams Call..
