Dear All,
We have Polycom CCX and VVX Phones in a S4B on-premise environment with no modern authentication support so Polycom CCX phones sign in is not supported and office365 with modern authentication (ADFS and MFA).
According to Polycom Administrator Guide we are running the mixed 1 topology :
The Phones sign in for S4B but they keep connection to exchange fails .The message to enter Exchange user credentials just keeps popping up . Exchange autodiscover is configured and works in the LAN for clients.
Do the polycom phones support the exchange authentication flow according to the following :
With the outlook client , the user receives a notification to approve access with a randomly generated number code on the Microsoft authenticator mobile application . How does this work for the polycom phones knowing the only registered office applications are able to sent authentication requests to the MFA client ?
Polycom CCX Firmware : 7_2_7_0193
Polycom VVX Firmware: 6.4.6 and 5.9.8

How do you sign in on the phone? Are you using web sign-in?

Hello Steffen,
Thank you for your prompt reply.
We are signing the phones using User's Credentials with BTOE on the PC not using web sign-in because S4B Hybrid Modern Authentication is not configured. In this case , we want to know does the exchange connection integration work with an Exchange Office365 Modern Authentication ADFS-MFA setup with the Polycom phones and what is needed to be configured for that to work .

As the next step, I suggest you contact our Support organization in your region, if no other volunteers reply. Details are in my Signature.
Pretty sure you will need to use the Web Sign-in from memory but it has been ages that I worked on this.
