We just bought a handful of VVX 411 phones to be used as hard SfB phones.
Noticed that when try to login, there is no method (that I can find) of entering the underscore in our usernames, on the phone login screen. The workaround is to connect a pc to the voice lan and log in to the phone from there. Unfortunately this isn't going to work once the phones are out in the community, as passwords expire. Users will need to be able to enter their info via the phone pad.
Any ideas on this, or is there a firmware release coming out to address the lack of underscore?
Thanks.

Hello ashort,
In weeks , months or years to come nobody will know what the version was when you stated it is the latest.
Please post your currently used software version in writing.
In addition I tested this using 5.4.5 as an example and the underscore aka _ is on the 0 button.
Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Hello ashort,
welcome to the Polycom Community.
It is always useful to include the currently used UC Software version as issues experienced or a question asked may already be addressed in a newer release.
This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes, Administrator Guides or FAQ post’s.
The above is also stated in the "Read First"
Therefore the Polycom VoIP FAQ contains this post here:
Question: How can I find out my SIP or UC Software Version of my Phone?
Resolution: Please check here
Are these -18 or -19 Part Numbers or do you have a MAC address for one of them ?
