Ever since I added a dock to my MS Surface laptop, I've started getting static when using my speakerphone. Restarting usually fixes it, but it always comes back on future calls. Has anyone had this issue? The firmware is updated, and I have tried doing a reset to factory settings and updating the Bluetooth driver. A colleague also had this problem with a Poly 10 and had a ticket open with support that went nowhere, RMA's didn't help. Any suggestions?

Hello @jes1972 ,
welcome to the HP Poly community.
What do you mean by a Dock? What Surface device is this I assume that the Sync 20 works fine using a USB port or is this using Bluetooth? If Bluetooth via a Poly Dongle or Microsoft Windows Bluetooth pairing?
We are all just volunteers here so I suggest you contact our Support organization in your region. Details are in my Signature.

I have a Lenovo 500 USB-C Universal Dock connected to my Surface laptop. When I connect the Poly to the USB port on the Surface laptop, there is no static, but when I connect it to the dock, there is static.

Support said, "Poly USB products are basically design to use directly with PC ports rather using any kind of a docking station. Hence as you have mentioned that the Poly Sync is working fine with the PC ports so your device is perfectly fine and has no issues. Now coming to your above query, you can use docking station since you have only one port but you may face some static noise because we don't assure it will work fine with the docking station as mentioned above."
