ProBook 4440s
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hey,

I have an HP ProBook 4440s Notebook PC running Windows 10, but it doesn't have the HP_Tools partition. I read an HP tutorial that showed how to set a custom boot logo, but it needs the HP_TOOLS partition, which my computer does not have. I have formatted my PC once, but the HP_Recovery partition is still there. I also have a WinRE partition but no HP_Tools. I found two forum discussions that showed me how to do it, but none helped.

The Solution's link does not work at https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebooks-Archive-Read-Only/Accidentally-deleted-HP-TOOLS-partition-HP....

This article's link also does not work: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Operating-System-and-Recovery/Is-there-a-way-to-create-HP-TOO....

I have downloaded the HP UEFI Support Environment SP61632, but when I ran it and selected Hard Disk, it said it finished successfully, but no partition was created. I obtained the SP file from http://whp-aus2.cold.extweb.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp61501-62000/sp61632.exe

The HP_RECOVERY partition has some files that might be useful, but I don't know. It has a folder named "hpfire" with some files, but I don't know if I should run the files.

Can I add a custom boot logo without the HP_TOOLS partition? If not, how do I create it?

Any help will be much appreciated.
