Poly Studio USB : Microphone

Hi all,

I am placing Poly Studio in the middle of the room, using presenter mode.

The microphone able to pick up the presenter voice clearly and camera track smoothly.

However, the microphone is also picking up the voices coming from the back of the Studio.

- The Studio updated to latest version 1.3.1.

- Acoustic Fence on (narrow, 60 degree)

Is the Poly Studio USB microphone a omnidirectional mic? Or any solution to overcome this?

Welcome to the Poly Community.

We would need to know more about the acoustics in the room. Is there a lot of glass or flat surfaces where the sound could bounce off?

Hi Steffen,

Thanks for the reply.

The room is build by solid wall and only one of the wall is with window, but it was covered by curtain. Both doors are solid wood.

The ceiling height probably around 10ft.

One more things to add on, they are using Macbook, OS version 14 and above.
