Hi All,

Just after some advice regarding this printer. The idea was for the printer to be mobile so it can be taken with the staff member, connected to the wifi where they are and then the group they are presenting to can do printouts to it via their ipads (using AirPrint).

This all works well 'in-house' connected to our wifi network. Have set up the printer wirelessly via the software installed on their laptop (using a temporary USB cable to transfer the settings to the printer) but is there an EASY way to change the wifi SSID/Password when they are out in the field?? I know you can hold down the 'wifi' button on the printer for three seconds (until the wifi light flashes) then hold down the 'WPS' button on the reuter/access point and they link but that's only if WPS it's available and that the staff member can access the reuter/access point.

They will have their laptop with them and USB cable to be able to re-configure SSID/PASSWORD but seems a bit long-winded having to go through 'connect a new printer' for each location they visit. Is this the right way of doing it or is there another 'easier' way that I've overlooked. I'm also assuming here that the printer remembers SSIDs/PASSWORDS so it only has to be set up once for a particular location and then will 'auto-connect' if they return?? Is that correct?

Any help on this is very much appreciated.

Cheers,

Andy
