Product: Officejet pro 6968
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My printer makes loud noises during the night, at times. I assume this is some sort of self-maintenance or self-cleaning.  (There were several noises then the scanning light came on.)  But I occasionally sleep in the room where the printer is, and would like to limit that activity to the day-time.  Is there a way I can do that, short of turning off the machine?
