I have used my Scan to Network Folder since i got the 8720, over a year ago. About a month ago, the scan to Network Folder stopped working. Nothing had changed that I am aware of.
When I test, I get the message "The printer is unable to connect to the remote destination. Check your configurations and try again."
Scanning from the HP Smart application works fine. Scan to computer (the same PC) works fine.
The share folder on the PC is accessible from other devices without any issue.
Account details entered and checked again and again.
I have reset the network settings, reset the printer to factory defaults.
I have tested with specific computer IP, and the computers name.
I have even disabled windows firewall on the PC.
I have reinstalled the drivers, software, everything.
Still the same message.
I scan a lot and need the prefix/suffix feature of scan to network folder. This has me driven crazy.
