I had a problem almost identical to a recent previous post on 7/11/18, so I am copying that edited with my different details:
I was having trouble to print on July 11, 2018. I was informed that my printer was offline. When i went online for HP tech-support i was transferred to Sapphire Softech Solution who requested access to my system in order to resolve the problem. I was told by them I colud not communicate with my printer because of firewall protection not installed and was charged $299 for a 2 years contract. I believe they tricked me into taking control of my computer by misrepresentations and inaccarate statements. At the time I felt like I didn't have any choice if I wanted HP printer support. Now I am concerned that this was a scam.
Is Sapphire Softech Solutions an HP support team and why was I tranferred to them?
