Product: HP Officejet Pro 8620
Operating System: macOS 10.12 Sierra

I have always been able to scan to a USB memory stick without problems. Now suddenly I get the error message "memory device is read only".

I have tried several different USB memory sticks, refomatted them, and have followed instructions on this forum to unplug the power supply and USB cords, wait 2-3 minutes, press and hold the on button for 30 secs, and then plug the printer directly into a wall outlet.

None of this has worked.

Any further suggestions?
