Product: Officejet Pro 8710
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'm using a surface pro 6 with Windows 10 and I can't get Windows to connect with my 8710 HP printer via wireless.  I able to print wireless from my Iphone, Ipad and Work laptop on Windows 8.  But my new Surface pro won't connect.  The HP Software installion software goes through the process and at the end wants to sell me instant ink and when I decline the instant ink it ends the installion program and then I have to start all over again.

 

I'm able to print when connected via USB port, but once the printer is unplugged the printer is unavailable.

 

What am I doing wrong?
