Deskjet 1050 J410
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My HP Deskjet 1050 works perfectly fine on my dads WIn 8 Laptop(both printing and scanning). I just installed the software on my Win 10 and though it scans perfectly fine, it doesnt print.  The print doctor shows a Device error message and states that there is a cartridge/printhead problem. I'm using the appropriate cartridge as per model specifications and it prints perfectly well in Win 8. (Im using a single tri color cartridge) I also removed the drivers as per a forum post and ran the print doctor again. Still shows the issue. any fixes please.
