I have had the printer for awhile and was able to scan to my computer wirelessly in the past. Now, I can't. I get the error, unable to communicate with scanner. I use Windows 10. The printer and PC are connected and I can print and copy fine. I have unplugged the printer and turned it on and off. When I got the error, I ran HP Print and Scan Doctor. It says I don't have the full program installed. I run thru the prompts to install the complete software and go thru the process to reestablish the wireless link to my router. The wireless light is lit and strong and the doctor says communication is enabled. I can print fine. But I still can't scan and still get the same error message, unable to communicate with scanner. The only thing that has changed in the last month or so is that I have a new router, but the router is working fine and connected with the printer. There are no IP address conflicts, according to Netgear Genie. How can I get back to wirelessly scanning to my computer?
