Same issue with Officejet Pro 8600.  Printer will do copy and internal print of diagnostics from printer touchscreen.  Any jobs sent from my windows10 pc to the 8600 via either ethernet network or direct USB connection results in immediate "error - printing" message that stalls the print que.  I have tried everything sugggested here multiple times and I still have a printer than prints but no way to communicate with it.  I have spent hours researching and troubleshooting.  THERE MUST BE A SOLUTION TO THIS PROBLEM.  Ideas??
