Hi all. Hoping someone can help! I recently switched from DSL to Comcast xfinity and the only device that will not connect is my HP C4795 printer. I’ve searched the web and multiple forums and it seems I’m not alone with this issue. Like others, I get the “MAC address filtering...” error with a FAIL in the diagnostics printout. I have tried everything I can think of USB direct connection to input my SSID and key, push button and pin WPS, cycled restarts of router/printer/laptop, manually entering MAC address in router (even though it’s set to allow all/no filtering), updated all HP software, uninstall/fresh install of the HP printer software and probably a few more I can’t recall.
Really hoping someone can help me here. With my kids now doing school work from home, we really need this printer connected! Hoping to avoid spending money on a competing brand of printer as we WERE satisfied before this.
