My printer/scanner is connected to WiFi correctly, which I know because it prints with no problem. When I try to scan, I open HP Smart and it says "Printer status unknown." Then, if I press the "Scan" button, it says, "Scanning is currently unavailable. Please select Home to check that your printer is connected and active. Once connected, return here to scan." If I press "Home," it takes me back to the beginning in HP Smart. I have also tried scanning straight to the computer using the display screen on the printer and after "preparing to scan" for a few seconds, it reads, "The scan could not be completed. Make sure the computer is connected to the printer and then try again." I've tried the troubleshooting steps through the HP website, downloading and running the HP Print and Scan Doctor, and when it was finished, nothing had changed. Please advise. Thank you.
