Product: Hp deskjet 4155

I have a hp deskjet plus 4155 that only shows up on my HP smart app as an hp deskjet 4100 and it was printing fine and all of a sudden I try to print something and I get this error message saying "failed to change settings. Retry" i have printed out every piece of information I can on my printer and nothing will allow me to connect the printer. I finally got into the hp site and it requests an admin username and password to go ahead with changing any settings.. and i do not even remember setting a username or password. =/ help?
