Product: HP Spectre X360 15t-ch000
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My laptop opened up on the side and front, and after looking at the community board, I found (as expected) a severely swollen battery. I am now looking for a replacement battery. Type YB06XL, HP part number 928427-271 on the battery (partsurfer.hp.com says 928372.856), 11.55V, 84.08Wh.

 

My questions:

- Is there a place where genuine parts (OEM) can be bought?

- If I buy a non-branded replacement, will there be a warning each time I start up the computer? (some entries suggested that). And if so, can that be disabled?
