Product: HP 906XL Black Printer Cartridge
Operating System: macOS 10.15 Catalina

I installed a brand new HP 906XL Black printer cartridge in the HP officejet 6958 printer. This cartridge was ordered from HP.com. The printer is not printing anything for black color. Other colors are working fine. I suspect that the cartridge was defective. I have tried all tools like aligning printer heads, cleaning them etc. This did not help in resolving the issue.

 

Can you please help.
