Product: Officejet 7310 All-in-one
Operating System: macOS 10.15 Catalina

My printer stopped working. It canceled all print jobs.  It said its software was malware & dangerous to the Mac.  The HP support web site said that to use the printer with Catalina OS I had to delete the printer & reinstall drivers.  I deleted, but the HP web site cannot find drivers for this printer.  It said to download the Smart HP app to find drivers, so I did.  However the app cannot find the printer connected by usb cable.  The app freezes & I am stuck.  I’ve tried disconnecting everything, shutting down, and restarting both computer & printer.  I just want to know if this connection can work somehow! I have spent so much time and cannot reach telephone help.  Any advice is appreciated!
