I have a Mac Air M-1, OS 11 Big Sur.  I was using a Mac Air intel 2020 running Catalina. The new Mac Air M-1 is only running Big Sur and cannot run Catalina.

 

But my printer worked fine on my Mac Air 2020 running Catalina, but I traded up to the M-1 w/ Big Sur.

 

I know my HP Office Jet 6500-709a  is out of warranty, & no drivers are offered for Mac OS11. All of the support links will not allow me to talk to a live person. 

 

I talked with Apple support, they said that HP is responsible to provide  Drivers.

 

I can buy ink, why can't I get a driver that works?
