This morning when I was trying to print some basic documents the pages printed with missing text. On the first page it was roughly every third line only half of the text would print. The bottom half would just be white almost like it was covered in white out. Everything in color printed perfectly fine but all basic text that is in black or shades of black yes missing lines or only printing a portion of the line.

I rebooted everything went through the basic trouble shooting steps of cleaning the printhead and all of the options that are available on this printer under tools. I once again connected from my iPad and tried to print another document and had the exact same problem.
When I comparing the document I printed along with the ones printed during cleaning the print head and the other maintenance steps I noticed that the blank or missing text happens at almost the exact same spots on every page. It does not match up directly but it seems pretty close. It’s roughly every second or third line depending on the size of the text. It will wait out anywhere from half to as much as 80 or 90% of any given line.

No error messages given. No recent changes to any firmware or software or anything like that. Printer worked fine the last time I used it roughly 10 days ago.

I am connected via Wi-Fi hotspot. It seems to be the easiest way to Print easily from my iOS devices to this HP printer. I connect the printer and the device I want to print from to the same hotspot and have no trouble printing through the basic print feature built into iOS.

Ink was just replaced last month and I have only printed maybe a dozen or two pages of basic text in that time.
