Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I installed a new OfficeJet Pro 6978 printer yesterday. Now my wireless suddenly isn't working well. I'm having terrible problems trying to stream things, and websites take longer to load. Something about the wireless setup of this printer or it constantly transmitting for Instant Ink or e-printing  is sucking up tons of wireless bandwidth and slowing my internet speed. I've rebooted the modem and router. I have got to get this fixed, because I need to work from home with large data transfers. How do I stop the printer from sucking up wireless bandwidth even when it's not on?
