HP Envy 5020 is connected wirelessly to internet, web services are enabled and the printer and my laptop are communicating correctly.
However my printer is showing a message 'Cannot print. Connect printer to update HP instant ink status'
Like I said earlier my printer is connected to the internet and when tap connect on the printer i get this message ' The printer is being updated. This process might take several minutes' but nothing ever happens and according to my printer it is up to date with everything.
When I log into my instant ink account it is saying that my printer is offline, but it is still updating the number of pages i have printed.
I have checked web services and they are enabled
I have done a power cycle
I have checked all connections are correct
I have used the HP can and print doctor which says there is nothing wrong
I have the HP Smart App which shows my printer is connected
Yet I cannot print anything till I resolve this issue between the printer and HP instant ink
Please, please help me I have been trying to get this sorted for days now
