HELP! I have installed a new modem and now my printer HP 9010 won't work. I need to change the wireless network name and password on the printer but it wont allow me because the printer tells me that it has an administrator lock on it. I am the only one who uses the printer so not sure how it was locked?  I need to unlock this so that I can change the wireless password so that the printer can work again. 

 

Someone provided the following solution without saying where on control panel to find the “right arrow” and if I go to setup and touch Network ; This will get me to Restore Network Defaults that is grayed out and states the “this feature has been lock by the person who set up the printer".

 

“To reset the administrator password and network settings, complete the following steps:
1. On the printer control panel, touch (right arrow), touch Setup, and then touch Network.
2. Touch Restore Network Defaults, and then select Yes. A message appears stating that the network defaults have been restored.”
